During National Night Out, neighborhood groups host potluck suppers, picnics, and other events to celebrate the strength of community and send a message to would-be thieves and con artists that neighbors keep an eye out for them and watch out for one another.
Knoxville will host its National Night Out on October 6th.

BOO! at the Zoo 2015 presented by U.S. Cellular® celebrates 12 nights of safe and not-too-scary Halloween fun on October 8-11, 15-18, 22-25, 2015 from
5:30 - 8:00 p.m.

BOO! at the Zoo presented by U.S. Cellular®, a Halloween tradition for 29 years. Each night of Boo! at the Zoo will have a variety of entertainment including dancing with some of your favorite costumed characters in the Chick-fil-A Monster Mash Tent located in the Clayton Family Kids Cove, carnival games in our all new Carni-GROWL area, the Zoo Boo Choo Choo and the only "haunted" carousel in East Tennesee, the Scary-Go-Round. (How can you tell it's haunted? It goes backwards, of course.) And best of all, you can trick-or-treat down the BOO! trail for your favorite treats and see even more costumed characters along the way!
